Have You Been Recently Diagnosed with DCIS? There Is a Test That You and Your Doctor Can Use to Determine a More Personalized Treatment Plan.

You may be eligible for the Oncotype DX® test if you have recently undergone a lumpectomy with estrogen-receptor-positive (ER+) or estrogen-receptor-negative (ER-), and have been recently diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ, also known as DCIS.

The Oncotype DX test for DCIS patients can provide additional information that they and their doctors can utilize in determining a course of treatment. The test results, called the DCIS ScoreTM report provides information in addition to the traditional measurements (such as margin width, tumor size and tumor grade) that doctors and their patients have traditionally used to estimate how likely a patient’s cancer is to return as DCIS or invasive breast cancer. The doctor will be able to use this additional information to create a better, more personalized treatment plan.
